Install a OverDrive

On some cars when a gear vendor overdrive is installed, it interferes with the parking brake equalizer bar. When that is found to be the case you need to move the equalizer bar forward. In the case of S156PR(1931 SPI Regent) the equalizer bar was moved forward by the width of the original bolt holes. That gave enough clearance and needed to drill two holes per side to get this accomplished.
